Hurricane Felix Update for Wednesday

A Reuters article offers updates on the damage. It appears in many places, here is one. The current death count is 21 with over 200 people missing.

[Nicaraguan president Daniel] Ortega said 9,000 homes in the area were destroyed, and residents worked with police and soldiers to try to clear dozens of trees blown uprooted and lying in the street.

I talked to my daughter this morning and she said that they had heavy rains over night but no wind per say. She also said that it “looked black” out so the rains would continue today but all in all no real flooding or damage.
