Lizard King

In 2006 (I think it was 2006) there were shirts being sold on the steets of Tegucigalpa. There was the standard Che profile (no beret, or edited out, not sure which) on the front. On the back the shirts read: "American Night". Under this phrase was this "-- The Lizard King, 1977"). Apparently, the shirt maker didn't know the difference between Jim Morrsion (posthumously, c1990, some of his poetry was published under the title, "American Night" ) and Che, nor when Morrison died (1971) - but it didn't seem to hurt sales any.

capitalism

Other merchandise to sell.

Che Spotting

I checked out the website. What a great idea. Looks like they are getting some traffic for a fun and harmless theme. The "lady" above, she cropped off his beret to reveal, well, a bit more about herself... freedom of expression! Very "Che"
