Due to the VAST presence of these Urracas, there is hardly any other permanent species of birds on the island,other than aquatic species ,these guys feed primarily on other bird's eggs,thus,reducing their population.
I've spent quite a bit of time in Ometepe, and Urracas abound, yet I barely notice other species.
The photo was taken at Villa Paraiso on Ometepe. The birds waited for lunch to finish and then would swoop down and steal food off the plates.
