Cascada San Ramon
4 kilometers up from Merida on the Isla de Ometepe is this water fall that is straight up according to my wife Jan who almost did not make the climb because of all the parting from the night before. It took us about 4 hours to get up and swim in the water fall and 4 hours to come down. It is harder to come down than it is going up and more dangerous

nice

no
It's too shallow for swimming. If you hike up the trail on the other side of the volcano, apparently there's a nice crater lake, but it's a looooong hike.
My pictures are here with all the others.... http://www.nicaliving.com/image/tid/103
