2 rooms for rent in Poneloya, at the beach 20 min to Leon, also for (volunteer)groups. day or month
I rent out a room in my house which is located directly at the beach in Poneloya, buses to Leon stop every hour in front of the house (in 20 minutes you are in downtown Leon). Perfect for volunteers or people who would like to stay a bit longer at the beach. The room has a bed and closet and own toilet/bathroom. Use of kitchen and rest of the house is included as well as electricity and water (which is expensive at the beach). for 100 dollar a month
For more than 1 person (2-8) i have a second room for rent which is bigger, (inclusive private refrigerator) 2 person is 160 dollar, 4 is 220 dollar 6 is 300 dollar a month.
I live here with my boyfriend and dogs and cats, all animals are well trained and extremely friendly. They have to because they are trained or in training to give animal therapy and activities to children with a disability in Leon and Esteli. We do not rent out the rooms in our house to make a lot of money, just to help us in living expenses so we can focus more on our voluntary project with the children.
The bus stops in front of the house (we are a known bus stop) on the main road in Poneloya. The house isn't luxury like a lot of the houses here but nice, open from both sides we have a nice sea wind coming through. Places for hammocks under the palm trees, barbecue, campfire all is possible. There is a kitchen with oven available. We can help to buy fish from the locals.
As we said we have a bigger rooms which goes up to 8 persons. especially interesting for groups of volunteers who need a place to stay. After a big day of heavy volunteer work you can refresh yourself in the sea! We already had some satisfied groups.
also parking area available.
For pictures, check our website www.botanicajazmin.net to have an idea - note we are a small hostel, when you rent the big room , even just with three persons we won't put anyone with you in the same room, it is totally yours for the period.
cats are OK - purrr dogs are OK - wooof
