Presidential candidate Eduardo Montealegre (in red) riding on the back of a golf cart upon arrival on Corn Island. (The reason they were all looking at me is that I had spent much of the evening before in the "Evil Jackson Swamp" & was standing on the balcony of my room trying to figure out what the hell was going on outside, I guess they had never seen a nearly naked gringo before.)

Funny thing

A few hours after this was taken I was riding in the back of Marvin's truck & we somehow got in front of the parade (Montealegre was in a dune buggy by then),they got behind us as we were heading to South End, You can imagine the looks we got, everyone thought we were leading the parade & what the hell is that Yankee Man doing in the back of that truck, in front of Montealegre none the less. We politely pulled over at out destination (Niko's) & finished the celebration started the day before on Eddie & Niko's birthday. Another day on the island.
